Plinths (Bases)

IP Enclosures provide a range of plinths (bases) for steel and stainless steel electrical enclosures. Plinths are 100mm high and sized to suit standard wall-mounted electrical enclosures. They are provided with holes in the top flange to fasten to electrical enclosures, and holes in the bottom flange to anchor into concrete.

Plinths – Powder Coated Steel

Steel plinths are fabricated using galvanised steel sheet and powder coated with a textured RAL7035 finish to 80-120 micron average thickness. Coloured plinths including T33 Smoke Blue, Black, Orange and Red are also available to suit coloured electrical enclosures. Refer to Electrical Enclosure Colours.

Plinths – Marine Grade Aluminium

Aluminium plinths are fabricated using marine grade aluminium sheet and powder coated with a textured RAL7035 finish to 80-120 micron average thickness. Coloured aluminium plinths including T33 Smoke Blue, Black, Orange and Red are also available to suit coloured aluminium electrical enclosures.

Plinths – Grade 316 Stainless Steel

Stainless Steel plinths are fabricated using Grade 316L Stainless Steel.
